This past weekend, our charming town, of Silverton came together to celebrate a beloved tradition: the annual Pet Parade in honor of Bobbie The Wonder Dog. The event was a vibrant tapestry of community spirit, joy, and, of course, a delightful menagerie of pets.

The parade, dedicated to the legendary Bobbie The Wonder Dog, who famously found his way back home after being lost thousands of miles away, is a cherished occasion for locals. This year, it was more spectacular than ever. Pets of all shapes and sizes participated, from majestic horses to playful ferrets and even a few strutting chickens. The sight of these diverse animals marching through our main street was a heartwarming testament to the bond we share with our pets.

As the parade kicked off, the air was filled with the lively tunes of the local Silverton High School marching band.
